Quarantunes #13 with Raul Malo ???? Perfídia

Hi everyone, today we’ve decided to do something a little different. A young singer-songwriter from Cuba, Hector Tellez Jr, is joining me for this edition. He and his wife Gabby have been living with us for the last year. They are part of our “stay at home self-quarantined Cubans”. We’ve got nothing but time now, so learning songs is a great way to spend that time. ‘Perfídia’ is one of those songs that’s been recorded and arranged countless times. It always reminds me of being in a warm sunny place by the sea. So of course my hometown of Miami, FL comes to mind, as does California and Australia. I love all those places. I’ve only been to Australia a couple of times in my life, and I fell in love with the place immediately ???????? I’ve always loved California. And Miami, well what can I say? It is the Magic City. These are all beautiful places that will be vibrant and alive and teeming with life for all to see. But for now...Please stay home. Stay safe. This will pass. Hang in there...RM ????
