Quarantunes #20 with Raul Malo ????

Hey everybody, thank you for tuning in and for all your comments, shares and likes on all these Mellotron videos. Like I said yesterday, they’ve been a blast to make and I’ve learned a lot along the way. As we come to the final edition of this “Mellotron series”, I think back to an old “Broadway guy” I worked with when I first started to sing. He would say things like “Listen kid you gotta finish big...leave them wanting more...sing to the balcony even if no one’s there...” Well, Quarantunes #20 is definitely a big finish. (Hint: it is not an Orbison song) Not sure if it “leaves them wanting more” exactly. No matter. It is done. I could not think of a better way to end this Mellotron series than with this song. I even wore my Manuel jacket for this one.

We’ve got a long road ahead of us before we get back to any sense of ordinary life. Hang in there. We will get through this. As things develop, artists and fans will have to adapt to some sort of new normal. Media, social and otherwise will undoubtedly keep us connected. We (artists) will continue to sing, write, and create as we do our best to bide our time before we ride that magic bus again.
