Quarantunes #17 with Raul Malo ???? Those Were The Days

I hope you all had as pleasant an Easter as you could possibly have. I wish I had a little nugget of good news to share with you all but at this moment they are really really hard to come by. We are all safe and healthy at our house for now and I trust if you’re reading this then you and yours are as well. And that’s certainly good news.

Here’s some more good news (although this doesn’t really qualify as news exactly but we’ll render it to the positive column either way)... I’m running out of songs to play on the Mellotron! When I started this I never thought I’d get to five, much less fifteen. It’s a testament to the instrument and its design, together with the advent of time and voila! And so I’ve come this far and I am going to try and get to twenty songs. Thats my goal. That’s a good round number. If you have twenty songs you can go do a gig.

For Quarantunes number 17, I decided to accompany the Mellotron rhythm and organ with my beautiful ‘62 Anniversary @Gretsch Guitars guitar. This is an instrumental version of one of my favorite TV themes from one of my favorite TV shows, “All in the Family”...here’s “Those Were the Days” - RM ????????
